FEU Block Diagram


Front-End Units (FEU) transmits the carrier wave amplified by High Power Amplifier (HPA) to the antenna and transmits the carrier wave received from the antenna, on contrary, to RF Down-converter via Low Noise Amplifier (LNA).

Switch Modules of FEU is made by using Circulator, Switching Device and Switch PIN Diode to use same frequency of send/receive signal. LNA is used to amplify received carrier wave.

FEU supports 3 FA / 1 Sector / 1 Paths so it needs 6 FEU to support 3 FA / 1 Sectors / 6 Paths and needs extra one Path for Calibration Path.
