One base station has a coverage limit due to output signal power. RRU system consists of Donor and Remote Unit so that it can expand coverage at reasonable costs.

ACE's PDCA(Packet data Distribution and Control board Assembly) PBA is mounted onto NPNU Shelf of Corex2000 Node B system so that it connects Node B system to the external Network(RNC) through Ethernet, or have a function of interfacing with NFTA PBA which transforms to Ethernet data in case an external network connecting to RNC is not Ethernet. Also it has a function of properly distributing Ethernet Packet data to the inside of Node B system.
